Chengdu, Sichuan

This bustling metropolis is not just home to some of the world's best spicy cuisine, but it also has pandas!  Chengdu is often thought of as one of the friendliest cities in China, but that doesn't mean that they don't like to have fun.  There is all sorts of nightlife here when you need to put on your dance shoes, and relax yourself at one of Chengdu's world famous tea houses when you just want to sit back and contemplate.

Guangzhou, Guangdong

Guangzhou lies in Southern China, just over 100km from Hong Kong and about 150km from Macau.  Guangzhou is considered a Tier 1 city in China, so you'll find it to be slightly more international then some of the other large cities which means that you'll have more choice for international cuisine and entertainment.  Guangzhou is definitely one of the most popular destinations for teachers in China.
